Gearing Up For Summer!

As the weather warms, we are starting to think about gearing up for summer adventures and weekend getaways. Here are some favorites must haves:

1. Weather the storm in style.

Spending time on the water means unpredictability, even if it's 85 degrees and sunny on shore. Packing a great pair of wet weather gear is a must. We love the cut of this Helly Hansen Salt Navigator jacket, especially in the pretty blue colorway!

2. Great SPF!

Nothing can ruin a great day on the water faster than a bad sunburn. Keep yourself protected (especially on foggy maine days) with a solid sunscreen. A few of our favorites include EltaMD, Supergoop, Sun Bum, and La Roche-Posay.

3. Classic hat for taming salty hair.

Long days in the wind can make for wild manes. We love these two classic baseball options from Clare V. and Harding Lane, or this playful bucket hat from Maine designer Erin Flett.

4. The perfect carryall.

Staying organized on board, or packing lightly for a weekend away can be no easy feat. We love the clean lines of the Gill Transit Backpack for race days. A simple Sea Bag, or the elevated version of a classic LL Bean tote, are our picks for cruising and exploring.
